Piedmont Mediation Center, Inc. is dedicated to promoting an effort toward peace in the community through the mediation of disputes; public promotion of mediation as an alternative to resolving disputes; and excellence of performance and training of community volunteer mediators and related training.

We have been assisting in the resolution of disputes since December 1986. To support our mediation program, we began training volunteers in the process of mediation and in the use of conflict resolution skills. This led to the center offering mediation training to the community, and has evolved into the programs now available. Each of these programs involves helping others with conflicts in their lives.

WHO WE SERVE:

We accept referrals from the courts, legal and religious organizations, human service agencies and individuals. There is no charge for consultation, and if your dispute is appropriate for mediation, we will discuss our fees and scheduling arrangements.

We offer training in conflict resolution and mediation and are available for speaking engagements.
