Score Program To Promote and Assist with Conflict Resolution in the Schools

What can SCORE do?
-
SCORE can help to
resolve issues at an early stage to reduce conflict that often
spreads to communities, families, and friends.
-
SCORE allows
flexibility for each school’s individual climate and culture.
-
SCORE links the
student, the school, the School Resource Officer, and the Judicial
System when the charges are appropriate to mediate.
-
SCORE helps to reduce
stress and fear often associated with conflicts.
-
SCORE allows
students to concentrate more on schoolwork and less on the next
phase of the conflict
GOALS OF SCORE:
-
To promote
and assist with conflict resolution in the schools
-
To provide
dependable, trained volunteer mediators to work directly with the
schools
-
To provide
mediation services at the schools
-
To provide
appropriate solutions to conflicts that occur in the
schools
-
